Even though hot tubs are awesome they can also breed micro-organisms or bacteria that can result in rashes and sickness.

When a hot tub becomes contaminated with micro-organisms the water will begin to look cloudy, slime may appear on top of the water and a very foul smell may emanate from the hot tub as well.

If a Hot Tub has Become Contaminated

There is a five step process that can be followed to make a hot tub safe to use again:

1. Draining the water from the spa and using a hose to wash out any traces of slime or sludge that have built up.

2. Cleaning the hot tub thoroughly with bleach.

3. Clean the hot tubs cover thoroughly. If the cover was water logged it may be time to replace it because waterlogged spa covers are the first way a spa can become contaminated.

4. Replace the hot tubs filter.

5. Refill the hot tub with water and verify that the water has been decontaminated by using universal test strips to test the water.

A Few Minutes Per Day

One of the great things about owning a hot tub is that it only takes a few minutes per day to skim the water of slime, debris and bugs that may have fallen in plus use test strips to test the water to make sure that its chlorine levels are where they should be.

Regular hot tub preventive maintenance is important because unlike swimming pools, a hot tub opens up our pores and makes our bodies more susceptible to illness due to contaminated water.

Thanks to the internet there is plenty of information online about the proper care and maintenance of hot tubs so there’s no excuse for not keeping a hot tub in great condition.

Rest and relaxation is seen as a key part of stress-avoidance, as stress is considered a major contributing factor to heart disease, hypertension and high blood pressure. Pampering oneself, be it with hot tubs, mud baths, massages, or a trip to an aesthetician or hair stylist (or any combination of those luxuries) is easier than ever before, with more spas offering more services than ever before

Health and Beauty in Demand

With both more supply and more demand, spa prices have become more competitive as of late. Spas, perhaps more than other businesses, rely on promotional items to keep their clients coming back for more. Promotional marketers are sure to remind those spa owners that are reluctant to invest in such products, which range from utilitarian to the opulent, that the spa on the other side of town isn’t neglecting this vital and versatile approach to marketing.

Gifts that Keep on Giving Back

Many spa promotions are given to the customer at some point during their visit to the spa; others are sent along to the customer as a way of expressing gratitude (and hopefully cementing the company’s value in the client’s mind). For instance, Complimentary towels are a great way to make customers feel wanted. So are gift baskets featuring sundries like bath oil, soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner and promotional paper products, such as tissues.

For certain clients, more elaborate promotions might be in order, to let them know that they are held in “Tier A” esteem. Heated foot bubble-baths, meditation candles, robes, incense kits and aromatherapy products are all easily obtained. Adorned with a spa’s logo, they add a personal touch to their home pampering regimen that is sure to remind them why they choose to patronize their favorite spa in the first place. For the spa owner, they comprise a self-fulfilling investment – and then some.

What is really medical spa is it really real? Is it really curing some illness? And is it safe to apply?

If we talk about medical of course it refers to medication. And if we think about the word spa, the first thing that comes up in our mind is a good relaxation with a good massage. Medical spa is a combination of medical clinic and a day spa with under supervision of the medical doctor.
This kind of medication is real. It can treat facial conditions like brown spots, redness, and broken capillaries. Some medical spa treatments are expensive because the equipment that they use is really costly too…

Sometimes cosmetic surgeons open medical spas as an adjunct to their practice, so they can sell more services to women who are working on their appearance.
